Privacy notice
How 1234 Digital handles information connected to this website.
Effective October 3, 2026.
1. Information you choose to send us
When you use our contact form or the “Let’s talk about your business” questions (short or detailed version), we collect what you enter:
- Your name, email address and, if you provide it, phone number and preferred way to be contacted.
- Your business name, description and website.
- Your answers about goals, customers, services of interest, timing and budget.
With each inquiry we also record when it was sent, the page it was sent from, the website that referred you (the domain only), and campaign labels in the link you clicked (such as the source, medium, campaign and content tags).
We use this information to review your inquiry and respond about your project. We use the email address you submit to acknowledge receipt and respond about your project. Sending an inquiry does not sign you up for marketing emails or automated text messages.
2. Information needed to run and protect the website
Like most websites, our hosting and security systems process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. To limit spam, our inquiry form keeps a one-way, shortened code derived from your IP address rather than the address itself. If a page fails to load correctly, a technical error report (without your form answers) may be sent to our website provider.
3. Visitor statistics
Our website platform provides basic visitor statistics, such as visits, page views, time on site, the referring website, device type and approximate country. We use these totals to understand how the site is used. We do not send inquiry answers or contact details into these statistics, and we do not use advertising pixels or other analytics tools.
4. Content from other companies
Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When they load, your browser contacts Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details.
Embedded videos. Some case-study pages include YouTube videos. When those pages load, YouTube and Google may set cookies and receive information about your visit under Google’s own policies, even if you don’t press play.
5. Advertising
We do not send inquiry answers or contact details to advertising platforms, and we do not use them to create advertising audiences.
6. Who handles your information
We use outside service providers to operate the website. They process information on our behalf:
- Website hosting and database services, which store inquiries securely.
- An email delivery service. For the “Let’s talk about your business” questions (short or detailed version), it sends John a brief notice with a link that requires sign-in; your answers are not included in the email. For the short “Let’s talk about your business” questions, it also sends you one confirmation that your inquiry was received, without your answers. For the contact form, it sends John the details you submitted.
- John’s business email service, which holds those emails and any replies.
We do not sell your information.
7. How long we keep inquiries
This applies to both the contact form and the “Let’s talk about your business” questions (short or detailed version). If you don’t become a client, we aim to keep your inquiry for up to 12 months after our last meaningful conversation, or after the date you sent it if we never spoke. We review inquiries by hand on a regular basis and delete those that have reached that point. Copies held in email systems and in our providers’ backups are removed on those providers’ own schedules, so they may remain for some time after we delete the inquiry.
If you become a client, relevant information from your inquiry may become part of our client records when work begins. We keep it as needed for our working relationship and for applicable record-keeping obligations.
8. Your choices
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email john@1234digital.com.
